I don’t create custom pieces that replicate another artist’s work. All custom designs need to allow space for my creative freedom and reflect my personal style and aesthetic — that’s what makes each piece truly special and one of a kind.

If you have a specific stone in mind, I’m always happy to explore sourcing options for you. If you already have stones you’d like incorporated, please send photos and we can talk through the details.

Once we’ve finalized your design, a mandatory deposit will be required before I begin your piece to cover the purchase of stones and necessary materials. I’ll go over the deposit amount with you after we’ve discussed all the details.

Because I’m often working on multiple custom projects at once, custom pieces typically have a 3–6 month completion timeframe. If you’re hoping for something sooner, just let me know and we can discuss whether an expedited timeline is possible.

Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth, but I like to go by Lizzie. I grew up in the Champlain Valley, nestled in the Adirondack Mountains.

Do you believe in the butterfly effect theory? I definitely do. My love of natural stones, minerals, and the natural world began with a degree in Geology. I learned so much and did the science thing for a while, but I never felt truly fulfilled. During this time, I met a silversmith who impacted and inspired me so deeply that for years, I always kept in the back of my mind "I want to be a silversmith." Post-pandemic, I moved back to the area and began exploring my artistic side more than ever. Each person I met on my journey and each little decision brought me to the moment where I finally began to devote myself to my dream.

I am a self-taught artist with help from others along the way. It is amazing to think that without my education, the wonderful people I've met, and all of the unique experiences thus far, I would not be the same person creating beauty to share with you all today.

The name of my business is a tribute to my Nana, one of the most artistic and creative people in my life. She was a woodworker, and her business was "The Finishing Touch." Although she practiced a different craft, I continue her legacy by working with my hands. This work requires careful skill, and I believe her passion for creativity, and savviness lives on within me.

If your item arrives with a defect, I would be happy to assist with a return or repair (within reasonable limits, following an evaluation), provided the issue is due to my error. Please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item to discuss the matter. Please note that returns due to buyer’s remorse are not accepted. As I do not personally cut my own stones, I am unable to replace stones that may have broken over time. Any repair requests made beyond 7 days of receipt will be considered individually. Since repairs can be intricate and costly, I kindly ask that you handle your jewelry with care to avoid damage.
